Approximately 30 years ago, chefs Robert Taylor and Allan Stacey had the unique experience of witnessing what appeared to be an unidentified flying object pass by. They took the photos of the U̳F̳O̳ and tried to share their story with the Daily Record, a Scottish newspaper. The Ministry of Defense took charge of the photographic material immediately and since then it has been unknown who the witnesses were. The information disseminated by the press has not helped much to understand Calvine\’s mysterious case either, since the photographs have been withheld by those responsible for the Ministry of Defense
The person in charge of publishing this image has been David Clark, a British academic and journalist specialized in the U̳F̳O̳ phenomenon in the United Kingdom, who would have managed to establish contact and interview the first officer who interrogated the young people after that night in which they saw the mysterious object in the sky. Apparently, after the investigation, the policeman hid a copy of the image before sending the rest of the negatives to the Ministry of Defense. Clark wanted to verify that the photograph that he had received from his contact was real, and decided to dive into the National Archives of the United Kingdom, coming across a strange poor quality drawing in which a U̳F̳O̳ was in front of an RAF fighter. . Alongside the clumsy pictorial recreation was a report referring to the Calvine Case and a report from the Margaret Thatcher Government Ministry of Defense offering guidelines, answers and specific details if asked about this sighting. Clarke affirms that much of the information in this case is confidential, something that surprises him, and he still does not understand the silence of the Scottish newspaper to which the first images were delivered.
