Leading Psychologist Says A̳l̳i̳e̳n̳s Are Afraid Of Earthlings

Last month, Nick Pope, England\’s most famous U̳F̳O̳ expert, put forw̳a̳r̳d the idea that a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳s observing Earth today would be afraid to visit us because a certain world leader was exhibiting destructive behavior tow̳a̳r̳ds his own kind, thereby it could also pose a danger to them.
Now, a well-known psychologist has written an article that exposes this problem…and expands on why a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳s are afraid.
Dr Gordon Gallup is an American psychologist at the University of Albany, best known for his work in animal behavior, particularly the development of the mirror self-recognition test that measures self-aw̳a̳r̳eness in animals.
What does an animal behaviorist know about a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳s? In his article, published in the journal Astrobiology, he explains:
“To assess intelligence elsewhere in the universe, we describe two of the main scientific claims about intelligence on Earth. One involves the idea that intelligence involves discovering the reasons for our own existence. The other involves self-aw̳a̳r̳eness and the ability to make inferences about what others know, want, or attempt to do.
According to Gallup, knowing what others know, want, or try to do is the reason people commit suicide.
And any long-term study of human behavior will quickly show that people regularly kill each other by gory means and in large numbers. In addition to w̳a̳r̳s and murder, the killing is done through pollution, habitat destruction, and other means.
For a recent example, Gallup points to “the total destruction of the highly advanced Aztec and Inca c̳i̳v̳i̳l̳i̳z̳a̳t̳i̳o̳n̳s, the enslavement and subsequent genocide of native peoples, their temples and buildings destroyed, their wealth and natural resources stolen and transported abroad.”
What would a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳s looking at historical r̟e̟c̟o̟r̟d̟s or travel brochures about Earth and Earthlings think based on this fact?
“However, if intelligence exists in other parts of the universe, it may not have been revealed because humans are dangerous and considered too risky.”
It would be a fitting conclusion for Dr. Gallup, but he goes a step further and turns the mirror back on us. If we are so destructive that other intelligent c̳i̳v̳i̳l̳i̳z̳a̳t̳i̳o̳n̳s are afraid to visit us, what is our future?
“If humans disappear, it is highly unlikely that human intelligence will reappear on this planet, and the chances that human intelligence will evolve on other worlds are infinitesimally small.”

However, this is only half the battle. The famous American poet, writer, critic, and satirist Dorothy Parker was once asked to use the word “horticulture” in a sentence.
She quickly responded with a play on words: “You can run a horticulture, but you can\’t make it think.” Are we whores of the earth who have culture and brains but can\’t think? Is that why we never find a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳s? Are they really afraid of us? Are they waiting for us to disappear to show themselves?
