The presence of unidentified flying objects led to the suspension of a soccer match in Italy.

Experts continue to study the origin and presence of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs), as many remain unknown. So much so, that the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) organized a group of scientists who are dedicated to investigating them.
Over the years, different unexplained phenomena were visualized in the sky on various occasions. One of them happened on October 27, 1954 during a soccer match in Italy.

UFOs in a football match
During a match where the Fiorentina and Pistoiese clubs faced each other, at the Artemi Franchi Stadium in Florence, Italy, there were around 10,000 spectators who were surprised to see strange objects in the sky.

For his part, Ardico Magnini, a Fiorentina player, said: “Everyone was looking up and there was something shiny in the sky, shiny silver. We were impressed, we had never seen anything like this in the sky. We were shocked.”

A few minutes had passed after the start of the second half, when the match referee decided to suspend the match, noting that not only the spectators, but also the players themselves, were focused on the presence of UFOs over the sky of the stadium.

“They were moving very fast and then they stopped. It all lasted a couple of minutes,” explained the judge of the match, according to the BBC.

In addition to the presence of these unidentified objects, a white and sticky substance began to fall from the sky, as described by several witnesses. No expert or researcher could explain a possible relationship of said substance with the alleged UFOs that appeared. Some described it as a large cotton ball, others said it looked like artificial snow.
