As far as UFO and alien hotspots go, there are few bigger than Russia.
Russia has nearly twice the amount of land of any country in the world, clocking in at over 17,000,000 kilometers, more than double that of the next biggest nation by land mass, Canada, and nearly double what competing superpowers the United States and China possess.
With all that land mass comes a wide variety of hidden secrets, hidden locations, hidden artifacts, and hidden history, many of which may have a alien slant.
Sightings and alien encounters are well known among UFO enthusiasts in the country, so much so that we’ve written about dozens and dozens of them on this site alone, if not hundreds.
One of the most harrowing encounters involves the Russian government, as part of what has become an ongoing back-and-forth between soldiers, the military, the Russian space program, and many different alien races, ships, and other agent provocateurs of the sort.
In this case, the Russian part of the equation involves an alleged revenge attack carried out on Russian military personnel by UFOs and the aliens inside, and it sounds like something perpetrated by the mythical figure Medusa more than anything else.
CIA Document: UFOs Attacked 23 Russian Soldiers and Turned Them to Stone
We all know the type of weaponry, psychic and other powers possessed by the myriad alien races out there in our solar system, but this one is not discussed often.
If indeed true, it sheds light on yet another alarming “superpower” possessed by these higher intelligence, higher technology beings that is not exactly good news for the human race, especially if this power is misused by alien forces with a bad temper against their overwhelmed human opponents.
According to a classified and now leaked CIA document, UFOs attacked 23 Russian soldiers and turned them to stone. It is probably the first time a documented case of this nature ever happened, according to UFOsFootageUK, who shared the story on its website.
Russia has had many encounters with UFOs and aliens, but none quite like this one.

Was Alien Destruction of Russian Soldiers a Revenge Attack?
The story goes all the way back to Siberia and a CIA report, the website said. This attack was leaked just after former Russian leader Mikhail Gorbachev lost his leadership, and many KGB files went missing.
Many of the files were leaked, stolen, hidden or lost in the resulting turmoil, and a ton of them were acquired by the United States CIA.
The declassified report, obtained by the U.S. intelligence agency, claims that a brigade of Russian soldiers were “turned into stone by aliens” after they attempted to take them out with a barrage of bullets.
This particular battle, as harrowing as it may seem, is far from implausible. It is widely known that many alien races have the technology to destroy or otherwise dominate United States military and spacecraft as they please, but choose not to use it because they oftentimes consider us to be a nusiance species, incapable of posing any sort of threat to them whatsoever.
In the case of retired Army sergeant Bob Dean, who has spoken widely about these issues, the alien races out there are mostly friendly, but some are quite hostile.
That’s why any and every alien encounter, especially those involving potentially hostile military personnel like this one, is a true game of “Russian roulette” for these soldiers, and oftentimes the results are anything but pretty for the “good guys.”
This particular battle allegedly involved a battle with a group of five aliens in Siberia in 1993. A total of 23 Russian soldiers died in the most terrifying way possible, all because of their intent to harm these alien visitors with their assault rifles.
According to the report from UFOsFootageUK, the document was obtained through a translation of a Ukrainian newspaper report on file.
“You have to be careful about what the CIA publishes online, as it could be misinformation,” the UFO website and YouTube channel Lionsground stated.
That being said, there appears to be legs behind this one, and if true it could shed light on one of the never-talked about, but long-hidden “superpowers” possessed by alien visitors.
