Frequently, the literature shows that the Sumerian gods are actually a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳s and have come to our Earth from another planet. They call it Anunnaki. What is hidden behind this name?

Anunna after Sumersky or Anunnak (k) ú / Annunaki / Enunaki after Akkadsky or Igigu / Igigi is a term especially from Sumerian and Akkadian mythology, which usually referred to a group of the most important gods. Anunna means “who are of the royal seed”, perhaps something like “who is of noble origin”; “Anu-na-ki” in Sumerian means “or land”.

The oldest ideas about these bohes are totally unknown, as this expression in the texts occurs much later than the individual names of the gods. At Sumer, there seemed to be a group of gods considered to be “higher,” suggesting that the most common epithets of the word Anunnaki are “great gods.”

It seems that all belonged to the four generations represented by the gods An, Enlil, Nanna and Utu.

The Anunnaki were indeed creatures who came from another place not from the Earth, but it is very likely that the members of Adam’s family are described – children, grandchildren, grandchildren … They were the gods who subjected the native people, they are “of noble origin,” they are those who came from heaven to the earth – as their name confirms: anu-na-ki.
