According to a report by the CIA, it happened on May 4, 1966, and on the ground a fragment of the U̳F̳O̳ was recovered.

The document that is available at the end of this publication was obtained by our friends from The Black Vault through the Ley de Libertad de Información (FOIA).

And despite its readability, there is clearly a pieza of a recovered U̳F̳O̳ that was analyzed.

The document says: “The report concludes that the fragment was originally part of an electrical component and was built with a 0.010-inch thick silicon steel laminate.”

Does this indicate that I was hecho por el hombre? Is it the Fuera de la Tierra by any chance? It is not clear.

On the other hand, the CIA could not determine the country of origin, as indicated in the upper part of the document, where the words “unidentified country” can be distinguished.

As you can also see in the screenshot on these lines, the document obtained is barely legible.

This, possibly, is by design. Of the entire CIA collection, this record remains at the top of a brief list of the most interesting elements of the misma

The records are tagged with «Poor original», which indicates that the record being published is the «best available copy».

In spite of this, there are some other things that can be deciphered from the origin of the «unknown country».

First, we can conclude that the report is, of course, about physical material of some kind, obtained from a U̳F̳O̳ that «cayó a la Tierra» in Kerekere, Democratic Republic of Congo (Zaire at that time).

Its measurements: 2” x 2” x 1” and provide some type of “electrical component”.

Secondly, we can determine in the «conclusions» section of the report that the experts definitely thought it was an electrical component of some kind, but there was nothing that could be used to identify the country of origin.

They were also able to determine that the appearance of the surface and the «microstructure» of the pieza, point to an exposure to high temperatures in excess, about 2800 degrees F. (Note: it is difficult to determine the number, but it indicates a very high temperature) .

Thirdly, we can also conclude that the CIA analyzed the fragment and obtained a chemical breakdown of what was composed, which included carbon, manganese, silicon, nickel, etc.

Another thing is that the CIA had numerous photos of the artifact, whatever it was. However, although it is a “poor original”, it is almost impossible to distinguish any details from the mismas.

What you can see are the measurements and the «side view» type legends in the photos inside the report.

Although it is possible that the CIA has simply recovered a piece of fallen space base —a satellite or another type of component of a cohete—, hecho is that we could not identify it completely.

At the very least, it gives the right margin to think that it could be an artificial object of e̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳ manufacture, and it makes clear the explicit record in cases of recovery of unknown objects —as in other cases where it was intended to be so—.

The continuation, an interesting video program which explains what is true behind the news about the P̳e̳n̳t̳a̳g̳o̳n̳ and the e̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳ materials recovered from U̳F̳O̳ accidents.
