alarming ufo encounter

When we look up to the night skies, it’s quite common to think to ourselves, even in the back of our minds, “Hmm…I wonder if I might see a UFO tonight.”

This is a common thought millions, if not billions of people across the world have had over the years, and with so much going on in the skies above us it’s easy to understand why.

One thing many people don’t think about, however (even the most well-heeled UFO enthusiasts) is looking for UFOs under the surface of the water or near bodies of water.

There are many reasons for this, including the murkiness of the depths, but one thing most people don’t realize is that UFO sightings are actually quite common near bodies of water and near mountain passes, caves, valleys and similar areas where crafts and intelligent beings could conceivably hide.

While UFO or flying saucer sightings in these areas are far less common than in the skies above us, one thing is for sure — these sightings are in fact among the most memorable, in many cases.

One involved a sighting from a former U.S. Navy Commander who has quite the colorful history when it comes to engaging UFOs, who happened to come across one of these so-called “USOs.”

His story is now being told and since his disclosure, other pilots have “come out of the woodwork” to inform him of their own encounters.

Pilot Has Harrowing Encounter with Unidentified “Submerged” Object After Previously Engaging UFO

The encounter, which was described in great detail late last year on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, featured Commander David Fravor, who is now known for being one of the pilots who engaged the infamous Tic-Tac UFO (AKA The Nimitz Encounter) while on manuevers with the Navy’s Carrier Strike Group 11 off the southwest coast of California in 2004.

Fravor discussed the “USO” incident for which he is now becoming even more widely known for, based on reactions to his appearance on the wildly popular podcast.

“One of the guys was a Navy helicopter pilot. He was flying a CH-53, a big heavy-lifter the Marine Corps uses for certain things. Off the East Coast they do a lot of shooting, at the time it was off Puerto Rico.

“The helo drops a swimmer in the water, he hooks the whole thing up and they fly back. The first time they were out and they were going to pick up a BQM, he’s sitting in the front – in the CH-53 you can see down by your feet – and as he’s looking down, they’re 50 feet (15 meters) above the water, he sees this kind of dark mass coming up from the depths,” he said.

“[The BQM is an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) or drone; these are used as “realistic aerial target, capable of simulating enemy threats for gunnery and missile training exercises” and are capable of being recovered as a parachute is deployed by remote control a flotation kit is added for sea-based recovery.]”

As they began to hoist up the BQM, the encounter happened, startling each onlooker in what would become a multi-incident phenomenon.

“As they hoist the BQM up, he’s looking at this thing going, ‘What the hell is that?’ Warren says.

“And then it just goes back down underwater. Once they pull the kid and the BQM out of the water, this object descends back into the depths.”

A few months later, a similar incident occurred, Fravor states.

“He’s out picking up a torpedo, they hook the diver up on the winch, and as they’re lowering him down, he sees this big mass,” he said.

Theories abound as to what the mysterious USO actually was, but one thing was for sure according to Fravor: it wasn’t a normal piece of military equipment, and in fact looked like a textbook example of the types of alien crafts that have been sighted in large numbers in recent years.

“He goes, ‘It’s not a submarine’. He’s seen submarines before. Once you’ve seen a submarine you can’t confuse it with something else. This big object, kind of circular, is coming up from the depths and he starts screaming through the intercom system to tell them to pull the diver up, and the diver’s only a few feet from the water.”

“They reverse the winch and the diver’s thinking, ‘What the hell is going on?’ And all of a sudden he said the torpedo just got sucked down underwater, and the object just descended back down into the depths. They never recovered it.”
